Robert Culp Hosts Saturday Night Live
Towards the end of the series 2nd season on April 24, 1982 Robert Culp appeared as the guest host on NBC's Saturday Night Live. The skit that opened the show featured Culp appearing to reprise his role as Kelly Robinson from I Spy, with Eddie Murphy taking on the part of Alexander Scott. However things aren't as they appear to be and we get a surprise at the end.

The 2nd video  is a short opening monologue with Culp coming out on stage pretty much looking like Maxwell complete with the "Maxwell" field jacket!

The only other "Hero" part of the show not featured in either clip below was when Culp appeared onstage to introduce The Charlie Daniels Band, he was holding his recently born new baby who was wearing a tiny replica suit complete with black cape.

Many thanks to Hero fan Paul Hernandez for providing me with the video!
